With the Halloween season upon us, I am rolling in pumpkins which means pumpkin seeds. When you carve pumpkins you scoop out the guts and seeds. Instead of tossing the seeds with the guts, turn the seeds into a snack.
I love roasted pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds are an easy snack. Simply wash, dry & salt the seeds. Pop them in the oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let them cool & eat for a mid day snack 🎃🍂
Try other flavors like salt & vinegar or add some cayenne pepper for a little heat. Drizzle on a little agave or honey for some sweetness, after the seeds are baked. Add powdered ranch dip or if you are from the east coast, old bay is a staple pantry item and perfect for adding flavor.
