Vans Warped Tour: 10 years later

Notes from the mosh pit: 

I was hit with a wave of pure, gritty nostalgia the moment I walked into Vans Warped Tour 2025—like I’d stepped back into my teenage daydreams but with better eyeliner and louder bass.

Fun fact: My first warp tour was in 2015!

My boots were dusted, my fishnets torn, my eyeliner smudged to perfection—exactly how it should be.

From spotting Jeffree Star strutting like it was still MySpace prime time, to screaming along with Simple Plan like it was 2004 again, every moment was a core memory waiting to happen. I grew up on Avril Lavigne, 3OH!3, August Burns Red, The Maine, We Came As Romans, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Asking Alexandria. These bands weren’t just part of my playlist—they shaped the mood boards of my youth.

And while the classics hit hard, this year’s lineup wasn’t stuck in the past. MGK brought the chaotic energy, Yung Gravy had everyone dancing in their fishnets, and Chandler Leighton’s voice gave me goosebumps. I also stumbled upon a few new obsessions: Holy Watr and The Dark—bands that snuck up on me and fully took over my brain. Discovering them live, in the thick of the crowd with the sun melting down, made it all feel cinematic.

Warped Tour wasn’t just a concert. It was a full-body, soul-level reminder of who I used to be, and the loud, messy, passionate parts of me I refuse to outgrow.
