With the Halloween season upon us, I am rolling in pumpkins which means pumpkin seeds. When you carve pumpkins you scoop out the guts and the seeds are attached. Instead of tossing the seeds with the guts, turn the seeds into a snack.
I love roasted pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds are an easy snack. After you remove the seeds from the pumpkin, simply wash, dry & salt the seeds. Pop them in the oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let them cool & eat for a midday snack 🎃🍂
Try other flavors like salt & vinegar or add some cayenne pepper for a little heat. Drizzle on a little agave or honey for some sweetness, after the seeds are baked. Add powdered ranch dip or if you are from the east coast, old bay is a staple pantry item and perfect for adding flavor.
